Because it is important to keep battling with CONTRADICTIONS... (क्योंकि अंतर्विरोधों से जूझते रहना ज़रूरी है...)

You will often see that some people are filled with strange confidence in their thoughts and behavior. There is a feeling in their mind that whatever they think or do is necessarily right. They do not see any conflict between any two of their thoughts or behaviors. On the other hand, you must have also seen some people who do not seem confident about any of their ideas. There are conflicts in their different views about which they feel stressed. Such gaps also exist in their various behaviors.

1. From the conversation so far, you must have felt that the people of the first class are better and successful than the people of the second class, but the truth is the opposite. The second-class people are undoubtedly much better. There can be only two types of people of the first-class - one who has not yet understood the complexities of life, and secondly, those who live the complexities of life but who have never tried to look honestly within themselves. The truth is that we all have many contradictions within us. The only difference is that sensible people recognize and accept them while others avoid paying attention to them.

2. Contradictions can also occur between two thoughts. Even between two behaviors and also between thoughts and behavior. The most stinging contradictions are those between thoughts and behavior. That is, what a person thinks and says, he does something contrary to it in real life by not doing the same. For example, if a person is a Marxist or Socialist at the level of ideologies and claims that there should be economic equality in society, the listeners expect that he himself does not desire more than his fair share in the economic resources of the society. But on the other hand, the convenient mind of that person also creates pressure. As the conveniences in his life increase and he becomes accustomed to them, this contradiction becomes more visible. On one hand, he hates the car owners and on the other hand, he tries to buy a better car by selling his old car.

3. These contradictions are an essential part of our lives. Even if we ignore them. Can't escape from them. And the problem is that whenever a person realizes these inconsistencies or contradictions, then the level of restlessness and dissatisfaction increases within him. Living with excessive guilt feelings cannot be considered appropriate from any point of view. That's why the right question of thought is how do we resolve the contradictions of our lives? And if it is impossible to solve them, then how to control the restlessness and irritability arising from them? The most direct way to avoid the restlessness caused by contradictions and inconsistencies is to eliminate the cause of the contradiction itself. It means that either he should change his mind or behavior. This path frees us from the tension of dissonance but it is very difficult to cultivate in itself.

4. If you are not in a position to clearly and unilaterally resolve the contradictions of your life, the other way is through the middle. One way to do this is to try to reduce the contradiction at the level of proportion to the minimum. Proportionate reduction in contradictions means trying to move your behavior as close to the thoughts as possible or making your thoughts flexible enough not to create gaps at the behavioral level. For example, if you are a vegetarian and support non-violence, then decide that you will not go on the path of violence except under compulsion. Wherever alternative solutions are possible, find solutions there, where there can be no solution, accept your ideas as weaknesses. For example, one can say that I am a vegetarian by diet, but from the point of view of health benefits, I have no hesitation in taking medicines that are better for my quality of life.

** The most difficult situation is for those who are unable to decide by what method they have to resolve their contradictions. The best thing for such people is to find mature people who have faced contradictions similar to their contradictions in life. The honest advice of such persons can prove to be the first step in the solution to your crisis. Existentialist thinker Jean-Paul Sartre has also said that

It is the responsibility of every independent and authentic person to take the right decisions in life so that it can be easier to make decisions in their life for the people who consider him/her to be an inspiration!!!
